Been awhile since I made a pen.
Decided to make a aluminum Atrax pen.
This is my first attempt on making a metal pen.
I learned a few things while doing this, using boring bars since I didn't have correct drill bits.
Figured out that i need to invest in more drill bits (mm and letter bits)
Didn't have any aluminum polish just tumbled it in walnut and buffed.

The atrax weighs 2 oz.

I like that very much !! ... Gonna have to try making an aluminum pen myself now that I've seen yours :):):) !

When you say "tumbled it in walnut", do you mean walnut chips ? ... or oil ?

Excellent pen, John!

I especially like the contrast between the "Shiny" sections and the "Brushed" sections. My terms may be a bit incorrect, but you see my intent.

Very nice!!!

Thanks all, Thought it would of been a lot heavier than it turned out.
just a little heavier than a bolt action pen i have with antler.

I wanted to polish it all the way to make the chrome but glad I didn't.
