That is some beautiful work there, sir. Please extent my thanks to your brother-in-law for his service. I also really like the altered pen case you made for him. Very creative.

The pen box was purchased from Berea. I removed the hinges and clasp, then spray painted olive drab. After I reassembled I realized I should have painted the hinges and clasp black. The rope handles was purchased from Hobby lobby. I drilled holes on the sides (not all the way through) and glued the ends in. My attempt at decals was a failure and I couldn't find a stencil small enough for the name and branch. I ended up going to a trophy store and had brass plates made.

Just to let you know that is 82nd Airborne the All-Americans.... hence the double aa's
101st is the screaming eagles

Jokingly, the 101st was referred to by other outfits as- the Gagging Buzzard or the Puking Chicken.
