Made this pen a while back. It is a mixture of "Frass" produced by the "Chrysobothris Femorata" larvae mixed with crushed Turquoise beads.
NO ANIMALS WERE HARMED DURING THIS EXPERIMENT!

Sorry about photo quality [:I]

So what your saying is this is a mixture of a beautiful stone and bug poop? Well I guess if you can make something out of Bat Guano(sp?)......

Nice Workmanship, I would feel a little weird about putting the end of that pen in mouth though.....[xx(]

You know, I think that it would be OK to harm all the Flat-Headed Apple Tree Borer you wanted.

So you just scraped that stuff off the tree?

For starters the Frass came from a pile of peach limbs that I had cut and put in a box to dry...the critters got to the pile and went to work. The frass was sun dried and has no odor (none I noticed)it's just like specks of round sawdust. The blank was stabilized with CA so it is sealed (like a chunk of CA with the stuff inside) so again the stuff ain't going to get on your hands [:D][:D]
