Im new to woodworking and even newer to penmaking, Im looking for people in my area that can and do turn pens, I would like to watch and share some ideas locally. I don't know alot of people in the Tumwater area that turn pens. So if someone in the area wouldn't mind showing off their craft I would be willing to learn. Thanks...

Olympia Woodturners Club

You should come to the Olympia Woodturners meeting. We meet every fourth Thursday at the Thurston County Fairgrounds at 6:00pm. There are a lot of us that turn pens and you can get help in all areas of turning. We also meet at the president's shop the following Saturday afternoon and get to practice turning and help each other. You could get hands on help.
