Default First post from Silverdale (Kitsap)

Hello all!

My name is Chris. I'm a 36 year old new turner stationed in Silverdale (USCG).

I'm a total newbie to turning but am pretty good with my hands. Have only turned 6 pens so far on my new (to me) Jet lathe and I'm very proud least the last 4. I'm looking forward to learning as much as I can from all of you and am very excited about the possibilities in this hobby.

Welcome Chris. Watch out, it's a quick way to blow through sea pay!
Boston's Pizza, too, by the Ferry: I miss that place.
