Default Test post....large photo instead of thumbnail

Test.............Can someone tell me if there is a large photo with no thumbnail. thanks.....

there is no thumbnail but it's not large

Is it a medium sized photo (I cropped it a bit)....obviously bigger than a thumbnail correct?.....

I like the last one. I can actually see the pen and not have to worry about the thumbnail not working. Of course, can a picture ever give us a true look at the work some of the people do here?
