OK, back to the drawing board. I need to figure out how to get the image to appear, not the link.

If you are trying to load the photo attached to the post, scroll down to the line, "Manage attachments", click browse and click on the photo you wish to attach. Then do it again until all the photos you wish to upload are listed, then click the "Upload" button. If the photos do not upload, you will get a message telling you what is wrong. Hope this helps.

It produces the following:

Ctubbs - Thanks, I'll try it.

Sylvanite - How'd you do that?

Anyone know how to resize photos so they're not so huge? I did a search, but couldn't find a tutorial on uploading, attaching and managing photos.

Thanks again.

Check out Photoshop Tip #1 - Saving Images for the Web. The instructions are for Photoshop Elements, but most photo editing programs (including free ones like the Gimp and Picasa) have ways to change a picture's dimensions and compression rate. If you use a different program, you'll just have to poke around to find them.

Regards,
Eric

Thanks. I didn't realize I needed to change the size at the source. I will work on that.
