Yes indeed.

*) Photo size should be based on user viewing and get sized accordingly, many/most forum software does that today.

*) Most forums worked fine with my gravatar setting but IAP does not. I have to manually update IAP which is not good.

*) Photo's that are stored OFF SITE, i.e. on my dedicated gallery site, still has imposed limits based on size and dimensions. The only viable argument for this is end user viewing limit and connection speed limits, in which case refer to my first entry.

*) I was recently working with a signature entry and it took me forever to get it to show correctly. I had no problem on other forums with it and only after reducing it to a small unviewable size was it able to be displayed, I then had to change the image which you see now, which one of them is borderline.

I'll give one other argument to this one... No matter where they are hosted, a picture that gets put into a thread can mess up the look of the whole page/thread if it is oversized.
