Thanks Mal and Curt. I'm just getting back into turning after being unable to turn for 3 years or so. Wanted to see if I could start showing pens again.

Glad your back. I couldn't turn for a few years, first do to economic reasons and after I was able to again I ended up with a numb right hand due to carpal tunnel. It is great to be able to continue my learning again and I am sure it must feel great for you to be back, again welcome back.

Jim, do you remember where you got that blank ? Maybe you could tell a bit about it. The ladybug pattern is rather attractive, I think.

Curt, it does feel good to be turning again. Glad you got your carpal tunnel taken care of. I was away because my wife was sick with cancer for long time.

Mal, the blank was one that I made along time ago before a had to stop. It is just some ladybug stickers that I attached to the tube and the cast it in either alumilite or PR can't remember which now.

Take care.

I think that "lady bug" pattern is "Way Cool"! I would love to know where you got that one from..I got a couple of granddaughters that would go "Ga-ga" over something like that. It would make nice Easter or Victoria Day presents for the pair of them...Pleas let me know would ya...Thanks...

Hi Richard,
I made this a long time ago so this info maybe a little off. I believes I got the lady bug stickers at Michaels. Then I attached them to a white tube and cast them in one of the resins either Alumitlite or PR from Michaels. Hope this helps a little.
