October 2nd Meeting is part of Wood Fest

Hey Everyone, this month Carolina Penturners will be demonstrators and will also market their skills and pens at the 3rd Annual Wood Fest Event of our host store Wood Zone in West Columbia, SC. We will be demonstrating how to make seveal different style pen kits using wood and acrylics.

In addition Wood Zone has graciously provided table space for those of us desiring to display and sell our pens.

Three of our members volunteered at last months meeting to do the demos and I need a few more folks to help. In stead of making pens all day long, I have blocked out a morning demo session and an afternoon one. I think this will allow our members some free time to participate, shop and sell at the Wood Fest Event. Post a reply here if your planning on coming and if you prefer to be a demonstrator in the morning or the afternoon.
