Great Time Today at Wood Fest
Just a quick note to mention all the excitment, fun demos, and sales that went on today at the 3rd Annual Wood Fest event at our Carolina Penturners host store Wood Zone. We had a good number of our members out with their pens and other items on to sell at tables, two or three members were demonstrating the How to's of pen making, and the rest of us were goofing off, buying stuff or turning "Ball-a-Loops"( ball & cup toys).
Here's a pre-announcement for our November 6th Meeting. Hans Wunch and I talked today and he is going to workout some details and bring in some of the new decals that are being used on pen blanks. Hans has agreed to do the demo and show us how to apply, coat and turn them. Pat |
