I have been trying to figure out how to fill small cracks or very pores wood when I am trying to finish with a CA glue. Any advise? - Nathan -

Hi Nathan,

If the cracks are real small I just keep filling then with CA. If they are on the larger size I mix sanding dust with the CA to make a slurry and fill the crack with the slurry.

Hope it helps

Also the use medium or thick CA with the sanding dust will help. It may take a minute or two for the thicker to set up, but it is better than keeping on pouring more and more thin CA over the cracks.

Think they have you covered. Ticker CA and sanding slurry will fill most voids. If they are really big, I'll pack it with shavings ground up to saw dust consistency and then flood with thin ca then turn, sand, finish as normal.
