Carolina Penturners April meeting

Hi Folks. The date for the next meeting will be April 6th from 1pm till 2:30pm at Mann Tool in Columbia, SC.

I do not know what the demo will be as of yet.

Anyone and everyone is welcome to come out! If you're visiting for the first time it's completely free. If you wish to join our little club the dues for the year is $20. Hope to see everyone there!

I hope to make my first meeting! I haven't been able to make weeknight meetings locally due to kids sports, etc., and actually have a Saturday off with no games!! Anyone else from the Charlotte area going?

Hello to all. I hope to a demo at this meeting on drying wood and moisture levels for turning. Hope to see you all there.

Chris are you gonna bring a moisture meter? If so I might bring by some recently purchased burls to check their content. I think they're still a bit wet but want to see how much.

Yes I will be bringing a moisture reader and will bring a scale to check BG weight also

Thanks to the Carolina Penturners for welcoming me as a guest yesterday! The meeting was informative and quite social! The burger joint afterwards was great too - they made a good burger!

Thanks also to Jonathon for giving me a quick 1-on-1 "Casting 101" demo. Your generous hospitality was very much appreciated!

It was great to have a day off from family events for a change, and had a great time!
