OK, here's an informal, unofficial poll:

What did you almost buy at the wood show? Not what you wanted to buy(that was almost half the show for me  ) but what you almost bought.

I count almost buy as you went by and looked at it more than twice, and/or picked it up to pay for it put it back.

  • New Router Table from Woodpeck
  • Barry Gross's Casting Kit
  • Barry Gross's Book
  • Bowl blanks
  • Shaker Rail and Stile Kit
  • V-Drum Kit in 24" (been eyeing one of these for a couple of years)

My almost bought was a Makita LCT200W 18v drill kit...with a third battery for $239. Amazon has it for $198 with two batteries and they get $76 for an extra battery.

If I hadn't ealier bought a Jet wet sharpening system, I would have snapped up the JoolTool system! Sharpening at a fraction of the time and about 2/3 the cost.

I almost bought a malachite trustone blank and a set of pin jaws for my SN2 chuck...the wife was with me and the lack of cash in my wallet was working against me...I walked out with nothing but hopes and dreams
