Is there a way to tell if someone has PM's turned off?

I've sent out a couple of PM's asking if I could extract posts for the library and have not heard anything.

If someone's Send PM is visible under their profile, they've selected the option to receive PMs.
If they uncheck the option, the Send PM isn't visible.

PM's have the sender's username visible. Perhaps when they see it is from you........... :biggrin:

They only see PM's when they visit and log in. If they are like Dawn and don't log in, .........

Actually, you can, and probably should, have your settings so you get an e-mail notification sent when you receive a PM. That way you do not have to log in to know that you have received one.

But my question is, can I tell if SOMEONE ELSE has Pm's turned off.
I've sent 3 or 4 PM's to people and received no reply.
