Default PEN DISPLAY CASE

Would it expand member participation if the PEN BOX contest was expanded to be more encompassing and say would read: PEN STORAGE contest? Enter hand made storage cases that holds 1 to 1 billion pens. Just a suggestion to get more involvement in this type of contest.

I see nothing wrong with that.

I like that idea. I think that someone might have thought at one time that a multiple pen box might get more votes, but some of the single pen boxes seen on this forum over the years have been great so I don't see a problem with competition between the two.

Now why do you have to go and set limits for us?

I feel that the pen stand and SINGLE pen box are more closely related per comparative voting. A multi-pen storage can be, and more commonly is, a complex project. So if there is to be a broadening of the types of units to be voted on, how about grouping pen stands and SINGLE pen boxes as one competition, and then have a separate competition for pen storage, which would specify two or more pen capacity.

As for the multi-pen storage, I believe the more grand the unit the more likely it is to be a winner. So the box maker would have that choice to make, and could compete at whatever unit capacity he or she desired. BTW, I believe I have a winning (#1, of course) idea for a multi-pen storage container!

Have to say Steve I will have to step away from the multi pen storage box so you can fight that one out with someone else. But I will see you in the arena for the stand and single pen match. I have the wheels turning as we speak. Those projects start in Jan.

To me a stand is not a box. Yes there are those that can be called either or but the true sense of the words is not the same.
