That's OK Mark.

I and the membership are looking forward to this article.

I like this version. Anything that you want to revise before I get it ready for the Library?
Let me read through it one more time, I know I will make a few edits.

Wayne,

Here is a slightly revised version if you wanted to use it. Feel free to use as you wish. If it helps one or two others, I have done my job!

Here is the post I did some time ago. http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthre...d-to-Make-Pens If it becomes something you want to use or have me edit, I have a copy in word or pdf.

I think I have one on choosing a lathe too but this is the most helpful.

Sorry I linked to the post from another forum. I originally wrote it up for folks here but shared it in a couple other places afterward. Here is the iap post.

Choosing a Lathe

The common lathes list at the end is now dated with several new models having come out since, but I tried to walk folks through some of the features etc that they might want to consider.

I find beginners asking these questions - what lathe should I get and what else do I need - over and over again.

Hello Wayne

http://www.spswoodturners.org/wp-con...-Pen-Blank.pdf

Some time ago when I made this pen and posted the method used I mentioned we should put the tutorial in the library. At that time I contacted the originator of it and he told me it was just fine to use in any way we saw fit. I looked for that thread but was unable to find it again. Maybe something we can add.

Thanks John,

I'll see if I can connect with him. Wouldn't add this to our library without his permission.
