Thanks for this! A picture or three is worth a lot of words, tho your words were enough I believe.
I have been having real troubles with accuracy using my wood lathe for these kinds of operations. I made a couple of pin chucks but they are far from perfect and I was wondering if you purchased yours or made them, if you made them would you share the process?

I've learned a lot from it already, having not ever done a kitless...I feel like I could go about learning rather quickly with this. I plan to do just that.
