The unit is mounted on a Bamboo Cutting Board, Full width angle brackets bolted on and down after alignment to the vertical.New holding 3/8 bolt to hold the Mandrel recessed to a snug fit by at least 5/8 inch. A knob locknutted to the end of this shaft.

The mandrel threads have been extended to allow additional locknuts 1/4 inch.

Being an early model a 5/8 inch bolt travelling nut flat to receive the locknut to hold it firmly in place a disk of nylon to interface on the Acme Screw.

The number plate on our car. I have had it seems forever when I had a Datsun 260Z in my middle ages. P for Peter me and W for Wilma my wife of 54 yrs best friend for 57 yrs.

Not shown yet the brass spacers and Dust receiver in progress. Happy New Year Peter.

Excellent improvements Peter!!! Perhaps more folks will now do these mods and these PW's will be brought back out from under workbenches.

You should have kept the Z car, they're worth a pretty penny now. Did you guys in Oz get the Dazzle Datsuns? I had a SSS for a short time until I wrecked it:redface: during my youth.

Anybody with a PW hiding under a workbench is welcome to send it my way!

As for Z's... one 76 (L-jet, oversized TB, high flow injectors, 210hp at the wheels), and one 77 2+2 (nowhere near as fun).

I love your mods Peter.
