Default Turning Smocks - Colors??

Jeff has asked me to get the smock project rolling. I have only been able to locate one source for the turning smocks. That is the same source used by the IAP in the past and also by the AAW.

The color choices for these smocks are gray, tan, royal, navy, and maroon. I am also looking at a couple ofl methods (embroidery or printing) of branding the smocks with the IAP logo and member name.

When all is said and done the smocks will probably cost somewhere in the neighborhood of $50.00 each. Don't hold me to that. I know someone will ask and that is just my best guess as of right now. (The AAW has them on their web site for $50.00 member price, $60.00 Non-member price.)

This is a QUICK (24 hour) poll to gauge color preference. Please vote and keep the poll bumped. My goal is to have some samples, in the most popular color choices, in time to bring them to the MAPG.

If you are turning resins, I can tell you the dust will show up on any dark color. So, if you want to "look neat", navy, royal and maroon are probably not a good choice.

But, personally I LIKE the dark colors.

So, I am still trying to decide.

Other input???

Can we get them to match Jonathon's combustion blanks?
If not, I would prefer the lighter colors( gray or tan ).

Ed Scared me - I chose tan.
But my preferred color would probably be navy or maroon.

I believe that the light blue we previously got was "royal".

Mike - thanks for picking this up.
