If they are in California, sounded like they were. The consumer protections are quite liberal in that State. A call to the AG and a letter from them may assist this mater as well.

Interesting... This was lifted directly from their website, "Unlike some businesses, our ultimate goal is 100% customer satisfaction."

Perhaps their definition of 'satisfaction' differs from that which we would all accept.

There is something about this on their website that raised my eyebrow:

[NOTICE: We do not reveal any of the following information, so please don't ask:
  • Resin Formulas/Manufacturers
  • Parts Listing
  • System Diagrams or Designs
  • Detailed Instruction Manual (Only supplied to existing owners)
  • Pictures of Complete Systems
    • All photos on the web site of our systems have been doctored through both fake additions and parts, as well as digital enhancements and degradation to hide the true structure and configuration
  • System Process Diagrams or Descriptions of the Process
  • Corporate HQ or Fabrication Facility Tours or Visits
  • Samples of stabilized material
  • Samples of the Resins
  • Vendor Contacts
  • Partnership Information or Contacts]

Is this what most companies do?? I don't know..just asking

Neil,
Companies like this really tick me off. Make sure you file a complaint with the FTC. Although they won't do anything right away, they add the business to a database/list that company does not want to be on. There is a chance, albeit small, that depending on the number of complaints, the amount of money and people involved as well as their shady advertising practices on the net, an investigation might ensue.

Good to know on the FTC, I think maybe a contact attempt at a postal inspector might be in line too.

I suspect the postal inspector is on the theory that it is fraud, perpetrated through the US Postal System, making it a Federal offense.

IF nothing else, mentioning this can get your guy's attention.
