Talking Burl resource share (Amboyna, gmelia, white teak, rosewood)

Hello everyone,
I have benefited from the wealth of knowledge and incite the everyone is more than happy to share on this site for some time but with my limited experience I haven’t been able to give back to the other members of the forum until now. :) I have found a source of high quality exotic burls that I would like to share with everyone else.

Recently, I have come across a supplier of extremely high quality burls and wood pieces, with a large number of species available. Some of the rarer items I have purchased include amboyna, rosewood burl, white teak burl, and gmelia, among others.

This guy has been great to work with, and for anyone who is interested in what he may have, look at his ebay store http://www.ebay.com/sch/islewoods/m....id=p4340.l2562

Let him know that you’re coming from the forum and he will be happy to help you out.

He certainly has a few really nice pieces. It will be interesting to see what they end up selling for.

Most end up in the 40-70 range for the amboyna. I've been lucky to buy quite a few pieces from him...actually just got them in the mail today (Post with pics and gloating to follow in the AM)
