Was assembling a Wall Street III from Woodcraft. While putting it together as per instructions, a small blue part fell on the work bench. I didn't see where it went or where it goes. Printed instructions don't show it. Thanks.

I'm not familiar with any blue parts. Any chance you can take a picture of it and post? Could it have came from the ink refill?

Wall Street III is the sierra Vista from Berea Hardwoods. John U may be onto something. Maybe a protective cover for the refill tip. I don't know of any blue parts either.

Not a tip cover. This is too big. Will get a photo. BTW, it had some grease on it.

The only other possibility is a piece from the transmission. If you have another then compare. The transmission is the same as the wallstreet II

This I have to see. There is nothing blue on that kit. Maybe the top portion of the ink refill. they come in various colors. Are you sure it was not something you had on the table that rolled off. Maybe something from another project. Compare to other kit and do post photo.

The top of the refill is in place. I am a fanatic about keeping the workbench clear. Got into the habit working with a model maker who was a sheet metal wizard. Will check the WSII. When I'm working on a pen, everything goes into lunch meat containers to keep parts from being mixed. Bushings are placed with the kit.

Checked a WSII and there is no blue part there. The mystery of the blue part is now relegated to the mystery of space aliens and where fasteners disappear in the shop. Thanks to al for suggestions. Chime in if you can answer the other two mysteries.

Many pen transmissions have an internal blue plastic piece. It shouldn't be able to come out, but "shouldn't" and "never does" are two very different things. You might check the transmission. If you don't see any plastic, I'd guess that would be it.
